Year 7 Catch-Up
The Government provides a literacy and numeracy catch-up premium for Year 7 pupils who have not reached level 4 in either reading or Maths which are considered important skills for life. The annual allocations for the literacy and numeracy catch-up premiums are made at the start of each calendar year based on the Autumn term census returns and the KS2 assessments.
The allocated premium for the 2019-20 academic year was £10,648. We used this funding to enabled Personalised Additional Learning Support (PALS) for literacy and numeracy.
