Ukraine Day: Blue, Yellow and Football!

Zac, from Year 8, suggested and then organised Ukrainian Day which was held at SHS on April 29 2022. Ukraine Day was a charity event to raise money for people suffering in Ukraine. Zac asked the school community to come to school wearing yellow and blue and invited people to take part in a staff vs. students football match. 

Zac said that he can’t wait to go to Ukraine to see everyone again. Especially to go fishing with his granddad on the River Dnipro.
