Travel Training Team Update
I would like to introduce to you the Travel Training Team, Miss Sejal Barot and Miss Nisha Solanki. We work in close partnership with Harrow Council.
We deliver specialised travel training which equips our students with the skills and confidence required for safe and autonomous travel. We are proud to lead on empowering our students to become confident, independent travellers.
Our approach includes:
- pre-workshop preparation
- practical travel sessions
- consistent communication with parents, carers, and school staff.
We ensure that every student receives personalised support and guidance.

This year, we have successfully trained 14 students to be independent travellers—each a true success story. Feedback from the students is clear. The travel training supported increased confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement. As a result of this independence students have attended college, participated in work experience, and in some cases, gained employment opportunities.
The annual goal of the travel training team is to expand the number of students who become independent travellers. Travellers who have resilience, safety awareness, and self-assurance in their travel skills.
