Ms. Blundell and Ms. Lilienthal extended the project so that the students could also design portablehomes for them!

  • Monday 23 May 2022 2022 PSHE Parent Engagement Survey SHS was surveyed by Ms. Tamam about their knowledge of the RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) curriculum at SHS. The feedback from the parents makes for interesting reading and shows that the majority of our parents support the RSe curriculumbeing taught. Click here to view the survey results.

  • Tuesday 3 May 2022 MENTAL HEALTH WEEK 2022 The Shaftesbury community has been focusing on the importance of our mental health and well-being. During Children's Mental Health Week, February 7-13th, we took time to reflect on what positive mental health meant to us. We also thought about the different ways that we can help ourselves and others. The students held a mufti day on Friday,February 13th. A total of £40 was raised whichwas donated. Young Minds is a charity that supports the mental health of young people.

  • Saturday 1 January 2022 WORLD BOOK DAY 2022 This year was the 25th anniversaryof World Book Day. We celebratedin true Shaftesbury Style! It was fantastic to see so many students and staff dressed up as their favourite characters in books.We had many books customised for World Book Day. For example, we had personalised large print copies made for some of our community. The RNIB also created a braille edition of a book for us.All of the money that we raised will go towards buying new books for our school library.
